4 Steps to Feeling Empowered and Peaceful in Times of Tragedy
May 30, 2022I felt the ache in my chest, at my heart chakra.
The heaviness in my eyes like I had been crying though I had not.
The sluggishness of my legs, which also felt light.
I knew what was happening.
I had been watching too much news. Too many tragedies.
I recognized my discomfort for what it was - stress* and heartache for all the suffering.
I also knew what to do: Reclaim my power and my own personal sense of peace.
I was able to change how my body felt, where my mind was focused and feel in charge of my own life again.
This is what I did - My 4 Steps to Feeling Empowered and Peaceful
- Deep belly breathing.
- Rose Essential Oil on my heart chakra - chest area.
- Prayer.
- Grounding meditation.
The physical manifestation of absorbing relentless stress; both witnessing or hearing the trauma of others, coupled with our own daily realities, is real and can be overwhelming.
Gratitude is another practice that helps us during difficult times.
I am so grateful that we have the techniques to reverse the overwhelm and live a more
peaceful empowered life.I am grateful to have a supportive community - and I include you in it.
I know that only by feeling in charge of my own life, can I help others. By feeling peace within, clarity comes.
I want to make a difference.
I want to be part of the solution, by first bringing peace into my own life.
